I have had many years working in the care industry. I started at early age caring for elderly relatives and people in the local Cheshire home. I have worked with elderly people in their own homes and care home ( personal care,food preparation, collection of meds, prompting meds, laundry and keeping accurate records) people with learning disabilities and people with a sensory impairment. I have accompanied people on holidays as individuals and as part of groups as well as organising holidays and activities. I am honest, hard working, punctual( i hate being late) friendly and a good communicator. i have a commitment to inclusion with execellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, motivate and supportothers. I have a current dbs check and am always keen to continue with cpd. I am flexible with my working times and places and just enjoy being with people. I consider myself a good team player and am able to adapt to situations as they arise. I am very aware of safeguarding, security , confidentilality, health and safety and hygiene policies and procedures. caring is not a job for me it is a passion
