Dear Family! My name is Maria Antonieta and I’m a portuguese Nurse and Nanny with Bachelor’s degree since 2002 living since more than 15years in Mallorca (Spain). I’m bilingual in Spanish Language and have a Toefl exam made with a Score of 230 of 300 points. My last Job was as a Holiday nanny in a fulled staffed House with two lovely kids in Portugal and Switzerland for three years and also as temporary Rota Nanny ( Check references letter from the Family). I was travelling with the Family and organizing activities to the children. As a Nurse I have more than 20 years experience and as a Maternity Nurse more than 3 years in Community Health cares and Neonatal Unit. The Most important tasks in the neonatal Unit (intensive care neonatal Unit) were the cares of new born babies and educating families about breastfeeding and Nutrition ( bathing , feeding, daily cares as change diapers and umbilical cord heeling, assessment of baby’s development and also vital signs, sleeping and Bathing Routines and give Information to the the mother about signs of confort or Disconfort in the baby, valuable tips about Babies cares and also important give Information and Support emotionaly the mother about Post Partum recover, cares and posible complications.) I have Advanced and Basic Life Support certification and several certification about newborn cares and breastfeeding Education and vaccination. I’m a passionate Nanny and Nurse , Kind, empathic and patient profesional nurse and I have knowledges in Montessori Education and Emotional Education wich I think is very important in Child Development.
